Hi,
I would like to set up a ride on the HW 33 some time this week or weekend. Thurs, Fri, Sat work for me i would like to avoid Sunday, it can be any of those days depending on if it works out better for others. I would like to start the ride before 10:00 and we can meet in Ventura, the chevron at Seward off the 101 or at a gas station in Ojai at the bottom of the 33. General I go 40-50 miles up rest and ride back down, we can grab a bit to eat at the end or just head home. I like to travel at a fast pace but nothing ridiculous. Let me know bellow if you are interested, it would be nice to ride with others instead of going into the canyons by just myself.
Thanks

Hello all,

I've had this sitting in my garage for 2yrs now and it hasn't moved, time to get rid of it. It's in pretty good shape and came off the bike when it had 2-3k miles. It looks like it has some scratches on it, but whatever. Some of the screws and whatnot were re-used for my current exhaust.

How about $20 obo? No offer is insulting. What you see in the pics is what you get. You pick up, I'm in Pacific Beach. I figured I'd try here before Craigslist, thanks!

I just got back from my first trackday at willow springs on 9/4. I was the only SV, but I was happy to keep up with some of the 600's by the end of the day. That really is a high speed track.

Anyhow, I have a lot of rubber "marbles" stuck to my tire. I must of picked them up from other riders because I wasn't pushing it hard enough and my tires are street tires not track tires.

Do you guys just pick the marbles off with your fingers? Any reason not to do this?

You MUST go to Altadena with us next Sunday. Danielle Hebert is down from Vancouver on her open-ended moto-journey after wrapping her last CD in Nashville. Sold everything she owns except her guitars, her recording and sculpture gear, loaded it all in storage and headed out on her GS750 Suzuki... 13,000 miles ago.

She is an amazing talent - composer, arranger, musician, sculptor, artist - and she was offered the Backstage at the Coffee Gallery in Altadena next Sunday so she can raise some more funds and keep rolling. http://funkylittlecoffeehouse.com

If you really want to get a sense of who she is on this ride - you MUST read her blog. http://daniellehebert.wordpress.com/

She's staying in town until she finishes reviewing the audio mix on her CD at a local studio and then she heads out again.

Bring friends!

Her website has links to some audio samples

http://www.daniellehebert.com/

(HOPE you can make it - help spread the word)

And no, her songs are NOT all in French!

Alright kids, if anyone plans to stay in town this weekend let's do a semi-repeat of last week minus the douchebags doing power wheelies on the snake. This time, I'd like to switch up the meeting spot to the valley side of Topanga at the corner with Mulholland Drive. I figure it'd avoid the po's for most of the ride on PCH and Sunset.

Does 8am work for anyone?
