Bike maintenance and technical is the best place I could find for this thread. Note this is not a technical procedure in any manner and is, in fact, quite crude.

At the request of forum members, here are some pictures illustrating how I made more space in my cargo compartment. The plastic ribs in your compartment can be cut or melted out. This doesn't reduce volume in the compartment but it does increase precious clearance room and thus eventually increases useable compartment volume.

Going to the beach? Bring along a book and some screen.

You can transport more drugs, water, and ______. Whatever floats your boat?

How did I do it?

I melted down the plastic ribs and then deleted the wall in the lower end of the compartment. If you are facing the steering controls, I deleted the wall to the right. I chose to keep the plastic on the left side because it protects a large thoroughfare for wiring.

Hello friends, its been a while since I've been on here due to an accident, but I'm back and picked up a gsxr 600 k6. To my knowledge fox stopped making suspension for sport bikes about 7-8 years ago, but I read that compatibility wise, old stuff should fit on newer gsxr's as well? I may have access to a few items, but I want to make sure it will work and is actually worth the effort since the stuff may be a bit outdated technology wise.

They are doing an Ascot tribute out at Perris on Sunday. Some friends and I are thing to leave Orange County and ride Ortega out to the 15, maybe grab some breakfast, then head north to Cajalco or whatever that exit is. Then take that east...it turns into the Romona Expressway...which Perris Raceway is right off of that. Cajalco takes you by lake Matthews I believe...

Practice for the flat trackers starts at 10:30...Im sure races will start around noonish or so. Not sure about entrance fee...its usually like 10 bucks to spectate the motocross races....I'm sure it can't be much more than that for this...

If anyone is interested in meeting up to ride out there let me know. Or if you want to just meet at the track.

Ok, it seems I've lost my old Thunderhill STAR-school video of me and others on the SV. This was from like 2005 and I linked it way back when. Did anyone out there happen to download it and if so, can you make it available for me? I'd be very grateful.

Silly me, I somehow lost the file. >< It had my old blue SVS too...nostalgia.

If you do a computer search, the exact name was: Thunderhill-STAR-Dan.wmv

Thanks,
I have a set of tail plastics, 6/10 because of one spot of rash, but complete. They are 2005 yellow.
Also some triples, two lowers that I'm not certain are straight, one S
upper that is clean/ straight.
Finally, two sets of front brakes, and some random cables & other bits.

Take it all. It's near LAX for you to pick up.
