great write up huevos-the honesty is really appreciated...what you speak of is what i was wrestling with earlier this year... but it's good to see that you're back to having fun & enjoying the racing.
congrats on the 1:36's- have fun in texas & look forward to seeing you back on the grid in july... better to have done something you truly wanted to do than living in a state of quiet desperation... not to mention if it wasn't for us grid fillers, there would be no contingencies tom-t-hill-in june-be there or be rectangular!

Good read - and some food for thought. I'm in the same boat (37, wife, new kid, career taking off) and I've been agitating for 6 months to get an SV racing class up here in my state in Australia. Its finally happened - and I'm going racing for the first time in July. Have had a lot of the same thoughts, and reached some similar conclusions - and its just good to hear another racer in a similar place doing the same.
