Hi All,

I got a 2005 SV650N (yellow) 3 months ago ... first bike. Still getting used to it and practice mostly on weekends.

Trying some minor cosmetic mods and getting parts for suspension upgrade.

BTW if you know of any remote and empty parking lots around Long Beach one could practice a wheele or two at I would apreciate a tip.

Hope to see you guys on the road soon!

Just a tip.. give your self a few more months, ride during the weekdays and don't start popping wheelies even in a parking lot!

O and welcome!

I thought Ender Wiggins was a genius? Although interestingly, I know some people that believe Peter to be the main character in that book because he drives both Ender and his sister. Food for thought.

Hehe no artillery needed ... I'm not aspiring to become a squid ... just a little bike control.

Back in my high school days I popped some wheeles on 600+ lbs russian bikes (in retrospect that probably wasn't such a great idea). Didn't have a chance to ride a bike in the past several years though, so it kind of feels like a new thing.

I'd love to ride a bit more, but don't feel like commuting on 110 at 8AM and 5PM.

Not freeways, but surface streets dude. Practice turning through intersections, changing lanes, coming to a stop at a light, etc etc.... and take the MSF course. I rode a bike for several years almost 10 years ago, and i learned a lot at the MSF. For example, how to handle the controls smoothly and keep my head up and look through the turns. You can't learn that stuff yourself, and there's no substitute for an instructor, no matter what your skill level is.

I'm all about MSF ... I took the course before getting the bike and as you said it was extremely useful. The instructors were awesome and the material really insightful. I hope that Skillz course takes place on Feb 14 so I can get some more schooling and feedback on what I'm doing wrong.

My kind of thinking. I know some people may not agree with spending cash on appearance mods, but I like to make my bike mine.

Hope you enjoy the bike and stay safe out there!

Hello everyone! I have been a member for a while but never really posted. Trying to post my bike on the seller’s forum but the website won’t let me for some reason? Can some one please help me?
